Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Afro UniSphere, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, have read these Terms of Service, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our platform immediately.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Afro UniSphere ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Afro UniSphere website (afrounisphere.com), mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services").
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Platform Description
Afro UniSphere is an education technology platform designed to help students in Ghana and across Africa discover universities, check admission eligibility, explore academic programs, connect with the student community, and access career guidance tools.
Our Core Services Include
University Search & Discovery: Browse and compare universities and programs across Ghana
Admission Eligibility Checker: Analyze your WASSCE/SSSCE grades against cut-off requirements
MatchMe Predictor: AI-powered admission predictions and personalized program recommendations
University Shorts: A student video community for sharing campus life and academic experiences
Career Guidance: Tools and resources to help you make informed academic and career decisions
Scholarships Portal: Information about scholarships and financial aid opportunities

Information provided on Afro UniSphere is for general guidance and educational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that admission eligibility results, cut-off points, or program details are up-to-date or final. Always verify critical information with the respective university or institution.

AI & WAEC Results Usage
Your WAEC/SSSCE results entered on our platform may be used to train and improve our AI-powered course predictor for better accuracy. We respect your privacy â this data is anonymized and will NEVER be shared with or sold to third parties.
3. User Eligibility
To use Afro UniSphere Services, you must:
Be at least 16 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction
Not be prohibited from receiving our Services under applicable laws
Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account
Users under 18 should use the platform with the guidance of a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
4. Account Registration
Some features of our Platform require you to create an account. When you register, you agree to:
Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
Keep your account information up-to-date
Maintain the confidentiality of your password and account credentials
Take full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Notify us immediately at support@afrounisphere.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
Not create more than one account per person, unless explicitly permitted

Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your password. Afro UniSphere will never ask for your password via email, chat, or phone. Enable two-factor authentication where available for added security.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Afro UniSphere only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:
Post or share false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content
Impersonate any person, organization, or educational institution
Upload harmful files, malware, viruses, or any malicious code
Use our platform to spam, harass, intimidate, or bully other users
Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our platform without prior written permission
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of our software
Use automated bots or scripts to interact with our Services
Violate any applicable Ghanaian or international laws or regulations
Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Platform
Resell or commercially exploit our Services without written authorization
â ī¸ Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, at our sole discretion, without notice or refund.
6. Premium Features & Payments
6.1 Premium Services
Afro UniSphere offers both free and premium features. Premium features (such as the MatchMe Predictor tiers and detailed admission reports) require payment. Pricing is displayed clearly before purchase.
6.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Paystack, our certified payment partner. By making a purchase, you agree to Paystack's Terms of Service. We accept mobile money (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo), debit/credit cards, and other methods available through Paystack.
6.3 Refund Policy
Digital services (admission reports, prediction results) are non-refundable once delivered
If a technical error on our end prevents service delivery, we will issue a full refund within 7 business days
Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
To request a refund for technical issues, contact support@afrounisphere.com within 48 hours of the transaction
6.4 Subscription Terms
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
You will receive a reminder email before your subscription renews
You can cancel your subscription at any time through account settings
Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Afro UniSphere â including but not limited to the logo, design, text, graphics, software, data compilations, and algorithms â is the exclusive property of Afro UniSphere or its licensors, protected by Ghanaian and international intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial use
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without written permission
University logos, names, and trademarks belong to their respective institutions
Our university database and cut-off points data are proprietary â unauthorized extraction is prohibited
8. User-Generated Content
When you upload, post, or share content on Afro UniSphere (including Shorts videos, comments, reviews, and profile information), you:
Grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, distribute, and promote your content within the Platform
Confirm that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you share
Agree that your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
Understand that we may remove any content that violates these Terms or our community standards

Shorts Community Standards
Videos in our Shorts feature must be appropriate for a student audience (16+). Content involving academic fraud, discrimination, harassment, explicit material, or copyright infringement will be removed immediately and may result in account termination.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Afro UniSphere expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
Accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of university data, cut-off points, or admission requirements
Fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement
Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Platform
Results or outcomes of using the MatchMe Predictor or any AI-powered feature
Admission eligibility results are estimates based on available data and should not be considered final determinations. Always verify directly with universities before making academic decisions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Ghanaian law, Afro UniSphere, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of academic opportunities, admissions, or scholarships based on information from our Platform
Loss of data, revenue, business, or goodwill
Damage arising from reliance on user-generated content or third-party information
Service interruptions, errors, or delays beyond our reasonable control
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the use of our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or GHS 50 (whichever is greater).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Afro UniSphere and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
Your access to or use of the Platform in violation of these Terms
Any content you post, upload, or share on the Platform
Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights
Any misrepresentation made by you to us or through the Platform
12. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe:
Violates these Terms of Service or our Acceptable Use Policy
Is harmful to other users, third parties, or the integrity of the Platform
Exposes us to legal liability or reputational damage
Breaches any applicable law or regulation
You may terminate your account at any time via account settings or by contacting us at support@afrounisphere.com. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability shall survive termination.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If not resolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Ghana, specifically the courts in Accra, Ghana.

Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first at support@afrounisphere.com to resolve any dispute amicably before pursuing formal legal action. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
Posting the updated Terms with a new effective date
Sending an email notification to your registered address for significant changes
Displaying a prominent notice on the Platform
Your continued use of Afro UniSphere after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may request account deletion.
